Description
This handmade bronze viṣṇu dīpā is often used as one of the aṣṭa mangala dravya-s ie., eight propitious auspices that have the potency to attract prosperity and abundance wherever they are used on a regular basis. The viṣṇu dīpa as the name suggests is primarily used to propitiate bhagavān viṣṇu as the harbinger of everything auspicious by lighting cotton wicks immersed in pure cow’s ghee everyday during sunrise and sunset and is placed facing east or north.
