Brass RATHA OR NAKSHATRA ARARTI 3 STEP

Description

The brass Rathārārti or Rathārati also called nakshatra ārārti/arati has three (3) steps and 27 small wick-holders with a long well-balanced handle that ensures comfortable grip during usage. The three steps are considered to represent 3 guṇa-s: sattva, rajas, & tamas; 3 veda-s: ṛg, yajus, sāma; 3 loka-s: bhū, bhuvas, & svarga; 3 dimensions: adhyātma, adhidaiva, & adhibhūta; 3 avasthā-s: jāgrat, svapna, suṣupta; 3 karaṇa-s: kāyika (physical), vācika (verbal), and mānasika (mental). The three levels including the single one on the apex together have 27 wick-holders representing the 24 insentient tattva-s, jīva-s, śaktī, and nārāyaṇa that constitute the universe as well as the 27 nakshatra-s. The profound symbolism itself underlines the significance of offering this ārārti seva during worship.
