Description
This is a brass hand finished pīṭha with removable prabhāvali that can be used as a pedestal for worshipping arcā vigraha-s or icons. The pīṭha or peetha has a padma engraved in the center with beautiful borders on all sides. The pīṭha has four legs which stably support the artefact. The prabhavali has ‘Pancha phańa nāga’ (~ five-hooded nāga) in the center, chakra to the right and śankha to the left of the nāga. There are small padma motifs around the nāga and on top of the prabhavali is the kīrti mukha. Two yālis are placed to right and left of nāga.
