What is Cash on Delivery (CoD)?2024-08-05T17:31:22+05:30

If you are uncomfortable making online payment, please use our Cash on Delivery (COD) facility.

This facility allows you to pay your invoice amount in cash at the time of delivery at your doorstep. Kindly select Cash on Delivery at the payment page.

Kindly note: 

1. You can make COD payments in only Indian Rupees [₹ / INR]. Currently, we do not accept foreign currency or demand drafts.

2. Due to the limitations of our courier partners, COD is not yet available for all pincodes in India. On the product page, kindly check your pincode under ‘Delivery Options’ if the COD facility is available for your delivery address

3. The COD facility is only available for orders above ₹ 975.

All Adhvara products are either directly manufactured by us or handcrafted by lineal artisans with whom we’ve worked for more than a decade. Our products are free from artificial colors, fragrances, and/or flavors and meet the highest standards prescribed in the śāstra-s. All handicrafts are made only from high quality materials that meet stringent requirements set in the śāstra-s.

What does ‘Out of Stock’ mean?2024-08-05T17:33:11+05:30

Out of stock means that currently the product is not available in the Adhvara warehouse. However, you can use ‘Notify Me’ tab on the product page to get notification once the product is back in stock. 

Do I have to have an account to place an order at Adhvara?2024-08-05T17:33:02+05:30

Yes. As of now guest purchases are not accepted. Signing up is easy and is useful to track shipping of your orders as well as with future customer support. We never share or sell your information to third parties but for the purposes of transactional necessity [see our privacy policy].

How do I place an order?2024-08-05T17:32:56+05:30

Step 1: Click the ‘Add to Cart’ button on the products you wish to purchase and they will be added to your shopping cart.

Step 2: If you haven’t, then register with Adhvara by clicking on the “Sign Up” button. You can login if you have already created an account.

Step 3: Either you can “Continue shopping” or click on the “Checkout” button to proceed to the next steps.

Step 4: Provide us with your email address, phone number, shipping address and payment details. Finally, click on “place order” to proceed.

Step 5: Once the order is placed, you will see a confirmation page with an order number. Also, we will send you an email confirming your order.

Step 6: Once the product is shipped, you will receive a tracking number on the email address provided in Step 4.

Can I edit my order after confirmation?2024-08-05T17:32:49+05:30

Currently, it is not possible to add any product to an existing order. However, you can remove any product before the order has been packed & shipped. You will get an option to cancel an item under ‘Orders’ section in your Adhvara account.

Can I buy multiple products in a single order?2024-08-05T17:32:41+05:30

Certainly, you can. Add all the products you wish to buy in your shopping cart and click on the ‘Proceed’ button for payment options.

How do I know that my order is confirmed?2024-08-05T17:32:35+05:30

Once payment is complete and your order is confirmed, you will see a confirmation page displaying a unique Order ID, a listing of the product(s) you have ordered and the shipping address.

In addition, you will receive an email and a text message confirming your order details. You will also be notified when we dispatch the item(s) from our warehouse with the respective tracking details.

Can Adhvara ship the products to an address that is different from my billing address?2024-08-05T17:32:28+05:30

Sure! Just fill in your address as the ‘billing address’ and the address you wish to ship your order to, as the ‘shipping address’.

Can I order a product that is Out of Stock?2024-08-05T17:32:20+05:30

Currently, backordering is not available for appurtenances that are out of stock. You can choose to be notified once the product is back in stock.

Certain handicraft appurtenances [arca, upaskara] and books [grantha] are available under “preorder” following which the artisans initiate the handiwork. Kindly note that Preorders cannot be cancelled or returned. Contact us to learn more or if you have any questions regarding preordering a sold out handicraft.

If your most recent order is not listed in the “My Orders” page immediately after a successful payment and upon receiving confirmation page, kindly try checking after 10 minutes.

We ensure that the products are appropriately packaged to endure the demanding terrains of our subcontinent. We package our handicrafts with several layers of insulating materials which are then placed in boxes and covered in a plastic layer. We take special care to choose the right packaging material appropriate for the exquisite products.

Our payment gateway partner for debit/credit cards, net-banking, and UPI incorporates industry-standard secure payment methods so that we can ensure that all your online transactions at Adhvara are processed in an extremely secure environment.

Adhvara’s website is protected by SSL/TLS encryption so as to ensure your data is securely transmitted for the purposes of completing your transactions. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and its successor, TLS (Transport Layer Security), are protocols for establishing authenticated and encrypted links between networked computers. Our trusted online payment partners monitor transactions continuously for suspicious activity and flag potentially fraudulent transactions for manual verification by our team:

1. When our team is unable to rule out the possibility of fraud categorically, the transaction is kept on hold, and the customer is requested to provide identity documents.

2. The ID documents help us ensure that the purchases were indeed made by a genuine card holder.

What is the 3D Secure Password?2024-08-05T17:31:36+05:30

The 3D Secure password is an additional password that you will be asked to enter after entering your card details on the payment page. You will be redirected to your individual bank’s page where you’ll have to enter the Verified by Visa password for Visa cards or SecureCode password for MasterCard cards. Your card-issuing bank will give this password to you and you should have this password prior to shopping on Adhvara.

Note: 3-D secure password has been made mandatory by the Reserve Bank of India to ensure safer online shopping. This will add an additional layer of security and thus, prevent misuse of a lost or stolen card, as the user will be unable to proceed unless they enter the password associated with your card, created by yourself and known only to you.

Adhvara’s payment gateway partner is one of the largest consumer payment processors in the world. It is a state-of the-art payment gateway that protects your account details when you shop on Adhvara by encrypting sensitive information like your card number. It is VeriSign Secured and validated by Payment Card Industry compliant Control Code with a PCI-DSS Level 1 certification.

You can make secure payments for your order on Adhvara using a variety of payment methods through our payment gateway partner(s). Our payment gateway partner supports the widest range of payment modes such as Credit and Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Rupay, AMEX, Diners), Net Banking of more than 65 banks, Paytm and other wallets, UPI via BHIM UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, EMI options, buy now paylater and so on.

Once our system processes your order, your products are inspected thoroughly to ensure they are in a perfect condition.

They are then packed and handed over to our trusted delivery partner. You receive tracking details shortly after this.

Our delivery partners bring your package to you at the earliest. In case, they are unable to reach your provided address or at a suitable time, they will contact you to resolve the issue.

We package our handicrafts with several layers of insulating materials which are then placed in boxes and covered in a plastic layer. We take special care to choose the right packaging material appropriate for the exquisite products.

Products originally in glass packaging – currently, śrī udupi ashtagandha powder, and śrī udupi dashanga dhoopa powder – will be insulated with multiple layers of plastic shock absorbent packaging and then placed in an appropriate cardboard box followed by a layer of plastic wrapping to ensure that the products reach you intact.

Our logistics & delivery partners have well developed network capable of managing fragile and/or handmade products that require extra care during transit. If on receiving the package you suspect potential damage, we recommend you to open the package before the delivery associate and ensure the contents are intact.

We ship throughout India and delivery is based on pin-codes.

How do I track my order that has been shipped?2024-08-05T17:34:36+05:30

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with the details of the tracking number and the delivery partner that is processing your order.

You can visit ‘Orders’ section to track your order once it is shipped. In some cases, it may take upto 12 hours for the delivery service to activate the link, so kindly try after the mentioned period.

In-stock products are dispatched within 3 business days. Actual delivery from the date of dispatch could vary based on your shipping address.

Preorders will include the actual time taken to make the artifact in addition to the above. Most preorder artifacts take anywhere between 30-45 days before being available for dispatch.

If two or products are ordered and are such that they cannot be safely packaged together, it will result in multiple shipments. It is likely they arrive together, however, they could be delivered separately in some cases.

Why do i see a delivery charge?2024-08-05T17:35:15+05:30

Delivery charge is nothing but the shipping fee which is applicable only on orders with a total value less than ₹ 975. This is to cover for our logistics cost to ensure that products are delivered at your doorstep in the best and safest way possible. Currently, the delivery charge is ₹ 100.

How do I cancel an order? (before it has been shipped)2024-08-05T17:34:05+05:30

If the order or the product(s) that you want to cancel have not been shipped yet, you can cancel the order directly through your “Order” section.

In such cases, the order will be cancelled and the money will be refunded to you within 48 business hours after cancellation.

How do I cancel an order? (once it has been shipped)2024-08-05T17:33:59+05:30

If you wish to cancel an order that has been shipped but has not yet been delivered kindly do not accept the delivery of the order.

Please note that custom orders cannot be returned and refund will not be initiated even if the customer doesn’t accept the delivery and the order returns to us.

Once we receive the product(s) back and verify its packaging/condition, we will immediately initiate a refund. The refund may take 15-20 working days (this is time taken by the bank & payment processing company to effectuate refund) to show up in original payment method.

Will shipping charges be refunded if I cancel ?2024-08-05T17:33:53+05:30

Shipping charges will be refunded only on cancellations of complete order before it has been shipped. However, in case of part order cancellation, shipping charge will not be refunded.

You can track the refund status under ‘Orders’ section on our website. You will have to sign in / login your Adhvara account.

In case of cancellation before the order is shipped, we process the refund within 48 business hours in the source account.

For the order that is already shipped, refund will be processed within 15-20 business days in the source account once it gets returned and verified at our warehouse.

How can I change address or phone number in Order?2024-08-05T17:33:31+05:30

You can change your address and phone number in your “My Account” page before placing an order. Changing your address or phone number after an order is placed will not automatically update the address or phone number on the order already placed.

How do I check the current status of my order?2024-08-05T17:33:24+05:30

You can review the status of your orders and other related tracking information by visiting the “My Orders” section. You can instantly see the status of a specific order and all of your past orders.

Once the order is shipped, you can see a button “Track” which will give you more detailed information about your order status.

If your order has been shipped and you are still not able to know the order status through tracking link, kindly wait for 12 hours. In some rare cases, the delivery partner may take up-to 12 hours to activate the tracking link.
